K-1 Visa Assistance
(General Guidance & Support)
2 Become 1
Feeling Lost in the K-1 Visa Process? You're Not Alone—We're Here to Help.

Who I Am
I’m Nelia Caranzo Storz from Tulsa, OK—a volunteer K-1 visa helper serving Filipino-American couples who feel overwhelmed by the visa process. I help explain public USCIS and U.S. Embassy information in simple language, share common process patterns, and guide couples through clear next steps with care and integrity.
In addition to K-1 guidance, I also offer premarital counseling and Bible study as part of my ministry, free of charge. These are meant to encourage couples spiritually and relationally as they prepare for marriage.
All guidance and counseling I offer is freely given. If someone feels led to give, optional donations help support our annual mission outreach to the Philippines—but there is no pressure or requirement, and help is never tied to donations.
Helping Filipino-American couples in K-1 Visa Education with faith-based, integrity and care.
If you’re applying for a K-1 fiancé visa (especially through U.S. Embassy Manila), I offer calm, step-by-step help to understand the process, organize your next steps, and respond to common questions—without the confusing jargon.

What Can I Help With
What I Can't Do
Where This Information Comes From
• USCIS forms & instructions (I-129F, I-134, etc.)
• USCIS policy/manual guidance (public)
• U.S. Department of State / travel.state.gov (public visa guidance)
• U.S. Embassy guidance (Embassy Manila checklists/steps, public info)
• Common case patterns (what repeatedly happens for many applicants)
I share general K-1/K-2 guidance based on publicly available resources, including USCIS form instructions and policy guidance, U.S. Department of State visa information, and U.S. Embassy procedures (including Embassy Manila). I also draw from common, repeated process patterns applicants experience. Anyone can verify these sources — I simply help explain them in simple terms.

Common Questions (FAQ)
1) “RFE ba ito? Denied na ba kami?”
No. An RFE is not a denial. It means USCIS needs more information. Many cases are approved after a complete response.
2) “May MNL case number na ako—CEAC: immigrant or non-immigrant?”
For K-1, choose NON-IMMIGRANT and use DS-160.
3) “Matagal na kami—normal ba ito?”
Yes, delays can be normal. Timelines vary. The important part is tracking your stage and responding correctly to any USCIS request.
4) “Pwede ba online ang RFE response?”
Usually RFEs are responded to by mail to the address on the RFE notice (some cases have online options, but not all). I can help you confirm based on your notice.
Language Support
I can explain and draft replies in:
• English, Tagalog and Cebuano
